Are you guys ready to hear a good ole love story? Let’s start with Chapter 1….

Chapter 1: Pass Me a Crayon, Please

Anthony and April’s love story began as 1st grade classmates (Circa 1995-1996). After one school year, they would eventually be separated as Anthony transferred schools across town.

Chapter 2: Teenage Romance

Years later, Anthony and April would inevitably reunite as high school classmates and even officially date for an entire two to three weeks (the average time frame for most high school students).

After high school graduation, April would attend college in another state and Anthony would begin his career as a Navy Corpsman .

Chapter 3: ~For I Know The PlanS~

With miles and state lines between them, Anthony and April would unfortunately lose contact but only for a short while. Well actually a decade but life was determined to reunite them yet again. This time their paths would cross at their high school 10-year class reunion.

As Anthony entered the class reunion meet and greet, April’s eyes locked with Anthony’s and an undeniable connection was immediately formed. The next evening at the class dance, Anthony decided to make a bold statement by confessing his admiration for April throughout the years and thus the true love story begins.

Within a week of the reunion, they were once again engaging in a relationship that would last way longer than two to three weeks. Some may call it a coincidence, but as life caused separation, God created opportunities for them to reunite with each other.

I guess we could coin this tale A Goudeau Love Story. So how does this love story continue……

Chapter 4: He Proposed, She Said Yes

After two years of dating, Anthony knew it was time to seal the deal and ensure they would never be separated again. Since their families have strong ties (Parents & Aunts/Uncles were once neighbors and high school classmates) he knew it was important to include their families in this milestone.

As family and friends gathered for an alleged “Housewarming Party”, April entered the home completely shocked to find her knight and shining amour awaiting her arrival. In an emotional 2 minutes, Anthony professes his love and proposes with the most beautiful and sentimental speech. Of course, April responds with a joyous yes!
